Second day of our whole schedule. No more introductions, straight into it. Morning breathing and mantra class is with Mr Om himself. You gotta be lucky enough to have your nostrils clear, otherwise you struggle to breath from left (Ida) to right (Pingala). But fear no more, salt water cleaning is on schedule tmrw 5:30am. 😉
At 7am my group B has a breakfast while group A sips a tea before exercise. With my new friend Zofia we climb up the roof to check out the views and take a selfie. Then 2 hours of self study in a hall 4, where not many people show up and LA guy has a nap instead.
Anatomy class is super fun as always, even if I know most of it from my recent fitness studies. Following Asana class unravels I’m crazy flexible as I later find out at not so silent lunch from my fellow students. Didn’t expect that at all. Study break after lunch is for shower and seems like an usual electricity break in my place. 3pm another tea and 3:20pm another boring philosophy class. Mediation class shortly after is pretty intense as though. Most people can’t sit straight for another hour anymore and have to use walls. I power through, chanting mostly for lay down.
While the sun is settling down we have the Asana class with our little OCD ponytail. Turns out Miami girl broke down and has been crying since meditation non-stop. We were warned it will come, as will the diarrhea. I’m lucky to be the hard nut to crack, so far so good. Trying to get enough sleep is hard though. Getting up at 5am tmrw for our first cleaning. So much fun ahead!
